APPLICATION
Chrome oxide green mainly has three important applications.
First, its strong tinting strength makes it very good performance as pigment material for ceramics, glass, rubber, camouflage and so on.
Second, chrome oxide green is one of the hardest material with Mohs hardness 9, even harder than quartz and steel. So is idea abrasive material and is widely used in polishing products.
Thirdly, chrome oxide green’s melting point is over 2000 degrees and very stable, so it is often added in refractory products like fire bricks.
Meanwhile chrome oxide green is also widely used in metallurgy to produce chrome metal.
