Introduction:
The izod impact testing machine is mainly used to measure the
impact toughness of rigid plastic, reinforced nylon, fiberglass,
ceramics, cast stone, insulation materials and other non-metallic
materials. It is the ideal testing equipment in the chemical
industry, scientific research institutes, universities and quality
testing departments
Theory:
Strike the specimen supported as a vertical cantilever beam using
the known energy pendulum, measuring the energy absorbed by the
specimen during damage. The fixed distance is from impact
line to specimen fixture. For the notched specimens, the fixed
distance is from impact line to the middle line of notch.
Characteristics:
English characters LCD shows the results, the storage of test
results, and has the energy loss to be
automatic correction function. Simple structure, convenient
operation, data accurate and reliable.
