A.1 Markings on controls shall be adequately indelible for safety and are therefore classified according to the requirements for indelibility:
A.1.1 Markings which are not mandatory within the requirements of this standard (IEC 60730-1).
A.1.2 Markings which are mandatory within the requirements of this standard but which are not accessible to the final user when the control is mounted or installed in the equipment. IEC Test Equipment

These markings have to be sufficiently resistant to removal to withstand the manual handling in the control manufacturer's factory after final inspection, being packed and transported to the equipment manufacturer's factory, and handled during installation. This testing apparatus is design and manufactured according to IEC60730-1 standard figure 8 and annex A requirements, used for testing the controller marking durability performance. IEC Test Equipment

The apparatus comply with the dimensions requirements of IEC 60730-1 Figure 8. Test times can be set from 1 to 999999 (default as 12 times), test rate 48 rpm. It is a easy operated professional equipment.
