Gate Valve Overview
They have beautiful and advanced structures. The opening and
closing parts of the valve are gate plates. The movement direction
of the gate plates is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid.
The gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and
cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate plates have two sealing
surfaces, and the wedge angle is 2°52'. The gate plates between the
wedge gates can be made into a whole, which is called a rigid gate
plate; they can also be made into gate plates that can produce
slight deformations to improve their processability and compensate
for the deviation of the sealing surface angle during the
processing process. This type of gate plate is called an elastic
gate plate.
